Will always be there.

Hello to everybody who's having the holiday of their life and to those who's life is just as boring and meagre as me. TT,TT Tht's because I'm on my semester break which is not really a holiday for me. 3 months of semester break is just too longggg and horribly boring ya know!

Anyway, it's been ages since I blogged something proper right? So here's something I just thought of posting after reading tonnes and tonnes of articles about being in a relationship and keeping it long distance for a certain period of time. I know I'm gonna crap stuffs again but bear with me ya~.

I was thinking of posting it after I start my semester but then nah, I'm too bored and I wanna blog something and post something. =P

So it's been almost 2 years eh? Like not yet but almost, very close.Ah, yes its about my relationship with this most lamest, silliest, and also ridiculous boyfriend I ever had. Never thought I could hold on to this for this long actually. When I first accepted him, I was never on the mindset to see my future with him. Never did I thought I was going to set my heart for him. All I thought was I should give in and give myself and him a chance. After all, I rejected him few times and he was still after me for months and months. In the end, he took this one chance I gave him and showed me he's worthwhile by just being plain himself.

Being in a relationship got me to realize, not all guys are the same. When you expect him to be your king or prince charming or whatever Korean drama type of guy but no. Reality is wayy, wayyyy different than you think it could be. At least its not as worse as Korean dramas.

As for this fella, he's just plain himself. I mean he does try to make me happy. His effort that I always treasure. Even it is just plain simple things like visiting me out of the blue, getting me Famous Amos cookies, bringing me out for dinner or dessert eating and even inviting me over to his house for dinner too. He's always trying to make me happy.

And our relationship was nothing like Korean dramas. It was just plain simple and we always go with the flow. He's willing to be responsible. The most important thing being in a relationship that I learn was both the girl and the guy have to be responsible. Its not just the guy that has to take effort but the girl too.

I've done my part to appreciate what ever things he has done to me, make it it was romantic or not such as just driving me to school even when he's no more attending or bringing me out for dinner after his work even when he's dead tired (yeah he was working for time being till he got accepted to go Aussie to continue his studies if you guys are wondering. He was doing his internship.). To that I've tried to make him my own made cards, photo books of us, giving him letters, get him small things that he likes (especially foods), cooking for him. Though I know I kinda suck at that still and I even tried baking (This came out successful because I ended up taking baking as my new hobby!) Even it is not big I hope he understands.

So now he has already flown to Australia to continue his final year there for 10 months. I supported his decision on letting him go miles away from his family and me to study. Its also one of my way to let him know that I trust him no matter where he goes. I was happy that he's going overseas, few thousand miles away to continue his last year. He can finally get to see the outside world without his parents and also learn to be independent (though he was already independent) XD. But yeah.

I thought I could handle the relationship with him being so far away. With me not being able to see him face to face, with me not being able to hold his and tease him and bully him, cry to him, go out 'makan' with him and his family and what not. I thought I was super ready because its just freaking 10 months. But I guess I was totally tiny bit wrong. :( I was totally holding up my tears, showing off he's the weak one crying. :P but then when he left us (me and his family) standing there looking at the signboard 'international departure', I realized the biggggggggggggggg hole.

When I reached home that night, I couldn't sleep, thinking how am I going to survive when I come back to KL again? Its not going to be the same anymore. He wont come and visit me, or he wont be there to surprise me, I have to go out dinner by myself and also do grocery shopping alone. All I can do was miss him. Ah, the next 10 months (my Final year project and also my internship) gonna be totally different I realized.

But we got a chance to challenge our relationship. Its to take up all the ups and downs by being far apart and come out clear after that!

You Smiled Back.

You were the only one,
That looked into me,
That held me in your eyes,
You were the one that made me feel something.

I do remember,
You smiled back,
When you did there was something,
Something that stirred in me,
I wasn't sure of that something.

Whenever you walked next to me,
My heart did something,
The light brush of our arms,
You smiled back,
And my world was lifted up.

You smiled back when I did,
And I went lalalalala,
I went flying,
I was happy all because of you,
Because you smiled back.

You were the only one,
That smiled back at me.

Baking Part 1: Marble Cake

Yeah its my semester break. Break from my studies though no breaks for my house chores T.T
Hahaha! But I took up a hobby where I can do in the kitchen! Baking!

Well, after so many research and online searching, I came up with the conclusion that baking could be fun after all. All the sudden I wanna bake butter cake, chocolate cake and stuffs and so on >.<

So today its I started with Marble cake. I wanted to make butter cake actually but then I changed my mind and decided to whip some marble cake. I followed Naked Chef Original's recipe from Youtube.

Here are the ingredients:

225g of buttercup butter
225g of castor sugar (U can get it in any supermarkets)
225 self raising flour (if u use all purpose flour the ingredient will be a lil different- u need extra salt and baking powder)
4 eggs
1 and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence
2 table spoon of cocoa powder
3 table spoon of milk

So here is what I did,

Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius.

1. I beat the melted butter with my hand mixer in a bowl. Any bowl that can withstand the beating then add the castor sugar. Beat, beat, and beatt~

2. Then add the eggs one by one. 4 eggs goes into the bowl. Beat beat beat~ (I didnt take pic of it because i was too busy beating! Hehehe!)
3. Add the vanilla essence.
4. Fold in the flour and milk consequently. Ending it with the flour.
5. Then take some of the batter out and add cocoa to the taken batter.

6. Then grease the round baking pan with butter and place the grease paper inside it.
I was cutting it so i used the shape of the bottom of it. U have to place the paper inside ok?
7. Then do a dollops with both the batter( place some here and there)
8. Then take a skewer/chopstick and make shapes. U will end up with something like the picture below.
Pre-baked marble batter
9.Put into 180 degree Celsius for 40 mins.

Its inside the ovennnnn!
Then take it, let it cool for 15 mins, cut and serve them! :D

This is what I end up getting. The outer layer was kinda burnt but then its not that bad! The batter was fully baked and moist on the inside.
This is how it looks on the inside! Its deliciouseeyy~ I trimmed the burnt part :P
So my first time baking and I didnt know it would be this much fun! With the help of the electrical hand mixer you can eventually whip up anything within an hour or two! :D

Much thanks to the Youtube channel and my mum for letting me bake alone without nagging. Hehe!

Stressed = Desserts

Well, my currently title would have explained the situation I'm facing now. Just too much pressure overpowering my willingness AND I end up eating too much these days. I could never understand few of my friends last time who started eating when they were stressed but here's my conclusion after undergoing the study on my own;

- When you are stressed or at the peak of becoming stressful, you tend to overeat and eat and eat whenever you feel like eating.

That's what I'm doing.

Here's a list of food I eat in a day:

1. Breakfast - Tuna Sandwich, Milo/Milk
2. Lunch - well, I tend to go base of preference of my friends. Sometimes mix rice, sometimes, chinese food or western or korean something like that.
3. Tea/Desserts - Apollo cake/ waffle/ cake/ mamee/kit kat/ etc.
4. Dinner - This depends too. Sometimes I go out with Waikeong or I go to his house and his mum coooooks a looooooooooot of foood/ or we go out with his family and eat tooo. Or I try to starve myself but end up failing because I end up eating something from my food basket in my room. T,T

These days I have a lot of things in my mind, running. Non- stop.

Still busy with my assignments.

Well, can't think of anything else to write though too many things are running in my head. Mostly they are about my assignments and Uni stuffs. >.<

Those Kids.

Heyy there, before you start to read my post, please do try not to ignore my pretty fishes that's swimming in their pond on top of my post. :P Do feed them so they will be happy! XD

Well, today is my last day in KL before midterm break. I'm off to JB for a week just to sit there at my study table and do two reports and assignment. Well, so its not a break or holiday. Its just a week of no classes. =,=

So today after my Food Safety and Quality Management, Me and Waikeong went to watch The Amazing Spiderman 2. So in the theater, there was this situation happened before the movie started:

Me and Wai Keong occupied our booked seats, and we were chit chatting, two lil kids (Must be the age of 9 and 8?? maybe) came with their mother. They were my next seat neighbours. When they came in to sit, I overheard the two kids talking to their mum, "I dont want to sit in that seat, there's an Indian there," Well, they spoke in Chinese, and I understood it, I asked Wai Keong for confirmation on what they were talking about me. He heard them too. Its about, me being an Indian and those two were fighting for seats to not seat next to me. Well, I was kind of offended. Not kind of, very much offended actually. The mother didnt actually scold them for saying like that, she was just saying, sit nevermind of something but all me and Waikeong could hear was, those kids saying I dont wanna sit here, change place! Like that. So Waikeong got real pissed and told the mum, "Excuse me, she can understand chinese," and the mum just nod her head and didnt say sorry.

We kept quiet and sat and after a while, before the movie started, the mum changed seats with the son that was sitting next to me but didnt wanna face the screen. She changed seats and situation over.

But in the end, I was offended and this brought up my mind to think that, the reason they were behaving like this could be because of their not good parental and not exposed to the multi-cultural environment, besides being born in Malaysia. :(

Sigh.
