"Deal?"
"Er..deal," Max nod his head in agreement. This girl is already making him crazy about her. "We will be moving out soon. I'm living away from my parents due to my work. I heard you work somewhere near the place I stay. As what? Clerk or something?"

"What?! Hello? I'm a eye specialist!" Max was taken back by her pride.
"Oh, you are? Ok,"
"You are? I heard you work in an IT company, one of the worker is it? Right?"
Max was still dazed and he nod to her, "Yeah, worker,dealing with paper stuffs." In actual he is a the Manager of the International ICT. And she didn't know that.

The deal was not to tell any of their family members that they are up to this relation. For Anna its still awkward t act as a wife towards Max. Max respects hr decision and falling for her was easy.

They came out of the room. Anna went to her mother in law to help her with the cooking. Max kept an eye on her because it hard for him to get away from her. He loves her smile. The way she thinks on what to talk next, he smiled like a retard.

"Way to go, you are staring at her too much," Max cousin sister poked her.
"What?" he gave her a poker face.
"So how was last night?"
"What? What are you talking?" He gave her a blur face.
"Like nothing happened? 'Nothing'?" She pointed out the word 'nothing'.
"Jamie, that's too much," Max pushed her away but after she was gone, he smiled at himself.
Jamie could be very childish at times even though she is 20.

"Ok, mum, I will," Max bid goodbye to his mum and dad while they were on the car to his own house which is a few hours ride.

The journey of their own married life starts.

Anna will be minding her own business, she usually goes to work before Max in the morning. She works in a eye specialist hospital. Max goes after that. But breakfast would be ready on his table though. Anna makes breakfast before she goes off.

"How is your wifey doing Max?" One of his Co-worker asked.
"Doing good," He quickly hide something he was writing away from the file he was holding.
"We have an invitation to New York for some International Conference on the Mobile Exporting.
"Sure put that aside, I will take a look at it later," Max's friend put the card aside and went out.
Max took the paper he was scribbling and looked at it.

He was scribbling this on a blank paper.

He called Anna.

"Hello?" She took her phone.
"Anna? Can you come over our house in 15 minutes?"
"Max, I can't I am busy right now," She said.
"Come on, I bet it will be good,"
I can't, can't you see, I'm busy,"
"Ok, maybe later dinner?"
"I will be tired Max, next time ok?"
Max tried but she pushed it.
He kept the phone.

Anna was home and she was playing a piano when Max came into the house.
Its the first time Max listening to her playing piano. And she was marvelous.

"You play piano?"
"Yes," She said with a final key hitting the note.
"You?"
"Err...I- Yea, I do, I love Beethoven, Picasso's sheets,"
"Picasso is not a pianist, he is an artist," Anna told him doubtly looking at him.
"Oh.yeah yeah, a little confusion that's all," He kept his bag on the couch and move closer.
"You read novels?"
"Novels?"
"Like Dan Brown, Paulo Coelho, J.K Rowling?"
"I know J.K Bowling,"
"Its Rowling,"
"Yeah the guy who write magazines right?" Max was trying to talk out something.
That made Anna laugh.
"Haha, first J.K Rowling is a women and she wrote Harry Potter Novels,"
"Oh, really?"
"I made lunch today, since you came home early you can eat,"
Max looked at her. Usually both of them eat outside during their work time lunch break.
Now it feels weird to be sitting together and eating. Max was happy with it.

"We are going on a dinner party next week. My err..my boss invited us to his house for some opening on our IT product," Max reasoned out. Actually its a congratulatory ceremony for the idea of him that the product is launched.

"Sure, maybe I can try asking him for promotion?" Anna looked at Max. Max nearly spitted his food.
What? "Oh? Oh.." Max realized Anna doesn't know his real job description yet. How funny.

"Anna you ready?" Max knocked the door to make sure she is there.
"Yes, I am," She came out with a most elegant dress. She was wearing a black knee cut dress. Max couldn't talk back and he kept quiet.
"How do I look?" Anna asked for Max's comment.
"Erm, wow! You-look, you look breath taking," Was the word he was thinking.
Anna laughed at how stunt he looked at her. She waved her hands in front of him because he keep staring at her while she was walking around the house checking before going out.
"We can go now," She told him.
He nod and walked to the car.

Anna and Max separated because of the crowd in the party.

Anna was walking around when she met one of her hospital colleague and she started conversing.

Max was being congratulated, Anna saw him being hand shaken and frown. He is just a worker, why are they congratulating him?
Anna started walking around looking at him from far away. It's when she realize how he looks. All this time she was busy with her job she didnt even take a look at her own husband.
Max, he is tall, he looks gorgeous with his coat suit, broad shoulder, black eyes and slick hair. He have a smart look and cunning smile. She immediately had a weird feeling growing. Shews looking at him all this while that she didnt realise she bumped into someone. "Oh!"
"Oh, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" She was apologizing continuously.
"It's ok, you must be Max's wife?" The guy she bumped asked.
"Oh, yeah," She stood still.
"I'm James, Max's second assistant. I've seen your picture in his office," He said smiling.
"His assistant? You work under him?" She was surprised.
"Oh, yes madam, he is the manager of the International ICT Company. Everyone works under him,"
Anna just gave him a shocked face and thanked him before walking away.
She was finding for Max.

Then she heard something familiar.
Something that she played in her house. The piano verse!
Someone is playing it.
She walked towards the key and she found Max sitting in front of the piano and playing.
She went closer to him and asked, "You play?"
"I learned,"
"And you are the Manager of the company. Why would you hid it from me?"
"I don't know," Max shrugged. But Anna couldn't contain her smiled and she smiled widely.

Anna has maid coming to house to clean the house every week since they are busy with their own work.
That day Anna wanted blessing from elderly because its her birthday.The maid was an elderly so she asked for blessing. "Thank you for the cleaning, and please do bless me, its y birthday, my mum is not here to bless me,"
"Oh, ma'am. Why are you asking me, but bless you child. All will be good in you life,"

Max who was passing the kitchen saw Anna being blessed and heard her saying its her birthday.

In Max's break time, Max got to a book store and got a heart shaped card and a bouquet for Anna.
He wrote in the card and was ready to give it to her at night.

At night after Anna took her shower Max was waiting at the balcony. He heard Anna inside the room removing the comforter to go to bed.

"Anna, erm.."
"Yes?" She stood waiting for him to ask.
"Err..err..here," He gave her the bouquet he was hiding behind his hand first.
"Oh?"
"Happy Birthday," He wished her.
"How did you know?"
"I overheard you talking to the cleaner,"
Anna smelled the roses in her hand. It was so pretty and she was happy.
"What's that on the other hand?"
"Uh?" Max was wavering on whether to give it to her now or not.
"Behind, what are you hiding,"
"What? Nothing!" He showed his empty hand and at that time there was a phone call for him and he answered it turning his back to him.
Anna just ignored and looked at the flowers. She put it in an empty vase and went back to sleep.
After answering the call, Max return into the room and saw her already sleeping peacefully figure.
He thought maybe next time. So he hid the card in between his books in the rack.

One month has passed and Anna and Max has to the friends level.
Anna makes coffee in the morning for Max before he goes to work nowadays. There's been an improvement  in their relationship.

One day when Anna was cleaning the house with the cleaner, she caught the card in between the books in the rack when she took out to clean it.
It was the heart shaped card that Max bought for her Birthday. She opened it and it was return.

"Would you be my other half?"
Happy Birthday.
Max.

Anna couldn't contain her smiled and she smiled at it.
She took the card to her room and she wrote on it.

"I am"

She kept inside her file.

Inside Anna's office cubicle, she was staring at the card.
She was looking at Max handwriting.
She wanted so badly to give him but she decided to give this on his birthday.
She know that she already had fallen for Max now.

There We Are

"Mum! Mum!!" She was running after her mother who was busy getting ready for the function.

"Anna get ready! You have to be presentable when they are here. What are you still doing?! Go!" Her mum was getting plates on the table now.
"What is this?! You never ask me for my permission. You decide everything by your own self and you go on deciding who I got tied to?" She crossed her arms and stood still waiting for her answer.

"Your dad and I were into this, not only me,"
"But you never asked me! Me! I'm the one going to live here. Hello," She put her hand up asking.
"Everything is decided when you were busy with your degree. We thought you would be okay with it. Now its too late to cancel this," Her mother carried the rice bowl outside to the dining table.

That got Anna speechless. It is no use. What's the point when the groom's side is on their way already. And everything is already prepared. Her dad's on the phone with the groom giving direction. Anna's brother's helping with the decoration. 

Its the first wedding engagement in Anna's family and its an arranged engagement. Its their only daughter's wedding and they want it to go on perfectly well.

Anna stumble up the stairs and got ready. She wore the dress her mum bought for her when she wasn't around. She was on her best make-up so this wouldn't upset her parents. She sat on the chair inside her room thinking.

All Anna wanted was to get married to someone she loved. Someone she thought she will meet after her graduation and start working. To get to know this person and become friends, then fall in love and then to get married. But Boom, out of nowhere Anna's parents called her when she was on holiday with her friends, saying they got her a groom.

"Anna!" She heard her mum calling her name.
"Coming!" She stood up and took a deep breathe. All she is hoping is for the groom to be as her expectation.

"Dad! I'm stopping this engagement!" Max was on the car with his whole family. He was forced to go with no choice in his hands.

"You shut up and listen to your elderly. Can you?!" His dad was driving and scolding him at the same time.
"Since when did I told you guys I wanted to get married now! I'm not ready yet and this is not what or how I wanted my marriage life to be, to get tied to an unknown girl!" Max was so frustrated.

"Darling, I promise you  won't regret. She is my friend's daughter and I know they would have brought her up well. So behave son," His mother tried calming him down.

"I will stop this. This is so unfair. I will have my own way, you will see,"
"That' it! You stop this engagement, you are out of this house!!" Max father put a stop to the driving and turn behind to face Max full face. That intimidated Max and he kept quiet.
"You are 28 Max! You are our only son! We want to see you get married before anything happens to us, me and your mum. We are no more youngsters. We are getting old, we want to see you have a life,to hug our little grand kids. Can't you do this small thing at least? One more word there. You are out,"

Max shut up and sighed. This better be good was all he can say.

"Come on, come on in," Anna's dad was welcoming the groom's family inside the house with wide smile.

The other side of the family shook hands and came in.

"Anna," Her dad called her and the mother.

"Have a seat. Let's talk after we have something to eat ok?" 

"Sure, sure!" Max father agreed.

"Anna. I want you to behave. Don't give that frog face of yours to our groom's side. Understand? Here. bring this in front to the table," Her mother warned her and passed her glasses of drinks where she have to bring it to the visitor. She just nod and walked of quietly.

On the other side, Max was wavering between telling the bride's parents about him not interested in the engagement or should he just get married to her. He really wasn't ready to this because its not easy for him to  get into a relationship that fast and he had his own ideal girl.

"Oh dear, look at her," He heard his mum awe-ing and looked up. He saw a pretty girl with blue dress walking towards them with a long plate balanced with glasses of drinks and mumbling something. And he heard, "Please don't fall, please don't fall," She was concentrating on the glasses not to fall. That made Max smiled. Cute he thought. 

"Hello," Anna put down the glasses on the living room's table and gave a hearty smiled to the groom's side.

"Hello there Anna," Max's mum was so happy to see her.
"Anna, this is Mrs Kimberly, Mr. Bennet and their son Max,"
"Hi, I'm Anna,"
"Come on, sit down darling," Max's mum held her hand and ask her to sit next to Max where there was an empty seating.
"Don't they make a perfect couple?" Anna's mum joined in after a while.

"Oh yes they do," Max's mum agreed.

All the both of them did was laugh at it.

It is their wedding day. Its gonna be the second time Anna and Max meeting up after their first meeting at Anna's house. None of them wanted to see each other after the engagement. 

Anna's friends were all teasing her when they got to know she is being arranged married. 

Max's friends were the same too but Max was supporting Anna ever since he first eyed Anna. He knew he wouldn't fight back to stop this marriage. During his working hours, he sometimes starts thinking about Anna. The way she fiddled with her hands when they sat together. The way she responded kindly to his parents, the way she looked at him when they introduced them selves. The way she smile. He agreed to himself that she is pretty.

"Anna, you ready?" Anna's bridesmaid was her bestie and she was hyperventilating with happiness.

"Kiara, Kiara, calm down. I am the one supposed to be hyperventilating not you," That made both of them laughed.

"Isn't is so strange getting married to a stranger! Oh my god, if I were in your position I would definitely done something weird," She shrugged her shoulder in bewilderment. 

"Ok, ok, you should get up and go now. Oh and I love you Anna finally you are going to have a life of your own. All the best!" She hugged Anna before letting her go.

"Thank you Kiara," Anna smiled.

"Maxey~" Max's friends were all surrounded him in the waiting room.

"Jake, stop it!" The guys were in the teasing mood while Max was actually nervous.

"You must be lucky you wife is so pretty, smart, and an awesome girl man," 

"Thanks there guys,"
"I think its time for you to be there," He his dad's voice.

Max took a deep breath.

Both of them were in the groom's house and in Max's newly decorated room.

Anna was sitting on the end of the bed post fiddling with her fingers.
Max came out of the bathroom wiping his hair with the towel.
Its gonna be their first time being together after the wedding.

"I have something to say," Anna and Max voiced up together.
Both of them looked at each other.
"You go first then," Max said.
Anna wanted this straight up and not bring up any confusion.
"Look, this was not what I was expecting. I always wanted a guy who can take my breathe away. So first get to know, then become friends, then go out together, then fall in love and the get married. But the problem is we are already married, so we leave that aside and take in the get to know each other first?"

Max was amazed by her. Max wanted to smile at her but he kept to him self and nod in agreement. He thought this girl is definitely gonna make me love her. Anna divided the bed by putting the bolster in the middle and went to sleep.

Proposal

"Wake up! Wake up! Leo!" I heard my sister's voice screaming in my head.
Oh my gosh! Can't somebody just let me sleep peacefully a day!
I kept my eyes close but I hit her and turned the other way back.
"Leo, get up! You have a letter from some one~"
Uh, who is she kidding me. Trying to trick me into waking up and do the house work? I'm not.
"YA! LEO! Wake up already! Or I'll read the letter. Its from your dear Luhan,"
"LUHAN?!" I immediately woke up and snatched the letter she was holding.
My sister laughed at me and my sudden reaction.
DANG! She knew I will wake up!! Uh!
"YAA!!" I hit her on the back.
"Mum is calling you down, lady," She whispered to me in my ear teasingly and ran out.

Well, I'm Leo. A 25 years old girl with a degree in Mass Communication. In love blindly with a crazy loving guy named Luhan who I had a great relationship with after my family. Its been 5 years we are together and till now his names gives me a butterfly in my stomach pit. And I love it. Just the whisper of his name gives me pleasure.

In the end, I end up getting up and walking down the stairs like a zombie.
"Leo, get ready, you are going out today. We have a lunch party with Uncle Jo," Mum sounds so groggy early in the morning. What's happening?

"Eh?? Lunch Party?"

"Yes, now go get ready. Wear something nice,"

I went back to my room and look around. Its Saturday. Missing Luhan and I have this urge of hugging and kissing him but he is back to his hometown. He must be busy enjoying his holiday so I dont want to disturb him even though he calls me every night. His presence is the one that I miss the most, to hold his hand, to his kiss lips, to hug his muscular body, to hear his heart beat when I hug him. I sighed and sat at the end of the bed.

After getting ready in 30 minutes, I was looking at myself. Its a dress Luhan brought for me. I thought of wearing it today. And I started smiling like a retard in front of the mirror until my sister barge in.

"Ready?" She ask excitedly.
What's up with her? Whys is she so excited?
"Yeah?" I looked at her questioningly.
"Ok, come on, we are gonna be late,"
I came down with my sister dragging me.

Mum is already going out of the house with her car key.
I have a feeling its gonna be a weird party.
As I got into the car and mum starts driving, I received a text from, Luhan. Oh, Luhan!

Open up the drawer in front of your mum's car dashboard and read the letter.

A little goosebumps reeked on the back of my hair. What is this??!!
I looked at my mum who is driving peacefully and my sister who had a earphone on her ear and eyes on the phone.
I read the text again, again and finally opened up the dashboard drawer and saw a blue letter cover with a love shaped heart stick on the corner of it. I opened the heart shaped heart and saw a picture of us together smiling. And now the letter inside it.

Remember the first day I brought you to my parents?
I know you do and you will never forget that day. Haha! XD
You were so afraid that you couldn't even decide what to wear and how to talk to them too.
You couldn't get down from my car until I dragged you out.
My mum's first impression on you was the way you looked at me.
She told me she doesn't only like you but she loves you.
And that's when I know you have gained my mum's trust.
For my dad, during the meeting up in the house my dad slipped off his glasses?
And you picked it, wiped it and gave him, mt dad's smile was genuine and I saw it that he agreed on you being by my side.
My family loves you for who you are and they know you will be happy with me.

The letter ended. I know I'm smiling, he wrote it, its his handwriting but how did it end up here??!

"Mum?" I showed her the letter and gave her my what-is-this questioning look.
"Emm? What's that?" She took a peek at it obviously which her acting skills is not good enough to trick me. I know my mum is in this and so do my sister who is rarely quite all the while.

She drove the car till the car stopped in front of my University where I used to study my degree.
Now what??!!

My mum showed me a face asking me to get down in a teasing way."Bye!!~" My sister waved at me. I frowned at her.
Now what? Where and what am I suppose to do?
This is not to my liking.
I called Luhan, I know he is up to something behind this.
"Sorry the number you are dialing is currently busy,"
Uh!
I started walking into the University's compound. 
Some how this place brings me a lot of memories that changed my life.
My friends and my love. I smiled. Its so fresh in my mind the day he confessed to me in here. It was in the afternoon recess and  I was dumped by my two friends.

Something on the tree in front of me caught my eyes. Oh! The blue letter with the heart again! I ran towards it. I laughed at myself before plucking it out from the tree. 

The heart shaped is stick with another picture of us again. I opened the letter and the similar handwriting.

I know all the memories are coming now for you while standing in front of this tree and reading this rite?
Its still fresh in me too. So much clear. I remember your reaction to my confession. Your face and your body language. The eyes that looked at me with clear utter surprise.
I know you weren't expecting it from me. Haha! 
But I know that day was gonna be it. The day that I have to tell you that I've have fallen for you. That you had taken a special place in me. You had made me gone crazy. And till now even how many small fights we had, I know I wont regret this relationship we are having and still going on happily. 
You ran away from me after my confession, but I know you need some digestion. 
But you came back so fast. After 15 minutes, I was still there thinking about it and you came back asking me a question. 
"Would you bring me to the moon if I agreed?" And I know that moment you wanted the same.

Oh my dear. What in the world. I didnt realise I was tearing up. My eyes got flooded. My I swallowed it back. I'm so gonna urgh, where is he?? Why isn't he answering my phone?

Then at that moment another message from Luhan.

How was it? You like it so far? Haha! Patience ok? You'll get to the point soon. Now I want you to get into a car that will come in a while for you. Trust me, you know the driver well.

In just a few minutes, I saw a car riding towards the parking lot I was standing. And there came out, my friend! My one and only best friend Stephanie! Oh my gosh! Its been years I last saw her.

She was in her best oufit. "Step!!!!" I fall my self over her out of happiness. "Oh my gosh, Step!! What the hell! What are you doing here?? How? And what is going on??" I was laughing and also she was doing the same. Jumping up and down like lost kids.

"Leo! I have a lot of things to talk to you but please no time for that now. I need to bring you to a place and that's my job for now," She opened the door for me and show me inside. I gave her a look and she put her tongue out.

She drove me to a place where there were gardens and flowers. Oh! I know this place!
Its where me and Luhan went out for the first time and also the place we fought for the first time and also got together after that at the same place.

"Here you go, I'll see you soon!" Step told me. See me soon?
"Step wait, what's going on?? Where are you going?!"
"Oh, you will know soon sweetie, now be a good girl and get down," She laughed at me getting down reluctantly.
Then she drove away.

The windy fresh air, the smell of the flowers and green grass. The beautiful scenery. Just for a perfect day for relaxation but everything happened here between us. Love and Fight. I walked further into the garden and spot the place we used to hang out. Looking at the sky and laughing or talking non-sensical jokes. He and his corny jokes never gets me bored. I would just stare at him while he talks. Then he would snap at me to wake me up from my trance. I was in love. I knew it very clearly that day. I was madly, deeply and truly in love with this boy.

A text message.

I know you will be looking at the spot we usually sit and talk so do walk around there several time and try spotting something.

Where is he actually leading me into?? A trap? Haha! Impossible, but just what is this thing I am doing?? Finding for letters and reading all out memories.

I walked around the birch tree few times and I spot a blue letter again, this time between the outer roots of the big tree. A smile formed on my lips.

The heart shape with another funny picture this time, I was kissing him and he snap the picture that time.

So here you are, my love, the place ,where I realize everything I'm gonna face is with you. 
Ups and downs, bad or good, happy or sad, I know you will there for me. 
This place has a lot of memories in store for us rite? XD The fight we had that broke us apart. Thinking about it, its silly actually for us to fight just because of jealousy. I had anger and yes I agreed I got a little mad when you went out with a guy without me knowing. You tried reasoning but I didn't take it in my head. I'm truly sorry for that even now. I got a little jealous and wanted you to be mine, and I became over protective I guess. 
Does that prove I love you? 
But the day I saw you sitting at the same place after our little break up, looking at the sky. I know you were waiting for me. The way you hit me in my chest with your anger shows you missed me. 
I hugged you tightly promising I would never let you go.

I really in need of seeing him now. Luhan please stop this thing and come over to me now.

Another text message.

Sorry if you are already getting hyper or emotional due to my writing. So now that you have read it. I told you I will never let you go. Walk a few step in front and can you see a small bridge that connect the small river to the next land. Come by there.

I can't wait. I really need to know what is going on and what is he up to now. I walked towards the bridge and even before I reached the bridge, I saw Luhan standing there. There he was with  black suit and combed hair.
The blood in my body rushed to my face and I know I'm blushing looking at him now and butterflies are all over my body.
I did not cross the bridge yet because there were little kids standing and blocking me and he is over the other side. They gave me a flower and I took it, before giving them a peck on their cheeks.
A little girl call me down and so I bent.
She whispered, "Just say Yes,"
"Sorry ,what?"
"Say yes,"
"Yes?"
Then the little girls ran away when they saw Luhan walking to the middle of the bridge.
I walked pass the kids and towards him.
I looked at him with my questioning look and he opened his arm for me. There it goes, my all my missing him came all together now in this one hug.
"Hey," He whispered.
"Hi," I looked into his eyes.
"Can I ask you something?"
"What's with everyone? Luhan, you better tell me what's going on first,"
"You'll know soon after I ask you something,"
"What is it Lu?"

I saw him taking out a blue letter again.
Oh, no...
I laughed at him quietly.

"For all these years we have been together, I wasn't committed enough towards our love, I know I was busy with my job and you had yours too. But I promise that I will make a better person out of myself if you agree to be my wife. So with all my pride, I'm asking you Leo Anne Xavier, would you marry me and be my other half of my life? Would you spend the rest of your life after this with me? To have kids and grow old with me? Would you start your new journey with me? Would you agree?"

I was utterly speechless. Luhan, did you just proposed to me???!
Did he just asked me to marry him?
To be his other half?
I know I have found him, the person that I have been dreaming of all this while. To spend the rest of my life with, to give love and to get love, I know it will be with him and only him. Why am I being reluctant.
Say yes! Oh, now I get it, those kids wants me to agree. Haha!
But tears were rolling my cheeks non stop and all I can do is nod my head. I heard, woooo's and ahhh's and when I looked around, either side of the river there were boats with all my family members, his family members, my friends. I turn to look at him and he was kneeling down.

"I love you," He said and slide the ring he was holding on my finger.
"I love you too," And I kissed him. I wanted it so badly. I kissed him.
"You are mine now," He whispered.
And I hit him to shut him up and continued kissing him.

"Get a room!!" I heard someone from out family shouting and laughing.
So I stopped.
This is it.
I'm engaged and I'm on my way to my own married life.
