Heyy there, before you start to read my post, please do try not to ignore my pretty fishes that's swimming in their pond on top of my post. :P Do feed them so they will be happy! XD
Well, today is my last day in KL before midterm break. I'm off to JB for a week just to sit there at my study table and do two reports and assignment. Well, so its not a break or holiday. Its just a week of no classes. =,=
So today after my Food Safety and Quality Management, Me and Waikeong went to watch The Amazing Spiderman 2. So in the theater, there was this situation happened before the movie started:
Me and Wai Keong occupied our booked seats, and we were chit chatting, two lil kids (Must be the age of 9 and 8?? maybe) came with their mother. They were my next seat neighbours. When they came in to sit, I overheard the two kids talking to their mum, "I dont want to sit in that seat, there's an Indian there," Well, they spoke in Chinese, and I understood it, I asked Wai Keong for confirmation on what they were talking about me. He heard them too. Its about, me being an Indian and those two were fighting for seats to not seat next to me. Well, I was kind of offended. Not kind of, very much offended actually. The mother didnt actually scold them for saying like that, she was just saying, sit nevermind of something but all me and Waikeong could hear was, those kids saying I dont wanna sit here, change place! Like that. So Waikeong got real pissed and told the mum, "Excuse me, she can understand chinese," and the mum just nod her head and didnt say sorry.
We kept quiet and sat and after a while, before the movie started, the mum changed seats with the son that was sitting next to me but didnt wanna face the screen. She changed seats and situation over.
But in the end, I was offended and this brought up my mind to think that, the reason they were behaving like this could be because of their not good parental and not exposed to the multi-cultural environment, besides being born in Malaysia. :(
Sigh.
=( I know right!!!!!
